CIRCULAR SAWS
Tooth Shapes from Carbide (HW) and Standard Blades Used in PROLINE Circular Saws
WZ – Alternate Top Bevel Teeth
Circular saws – A configuration where the tooth edges are alternately beveled, one to the right, then to the left.
For general-purpose applications in soft and hard wood, panel materials, fiberboards, and MDF.
Provides exceptionally clean and precise cuts.
TFZ – Trapezoidal / Flat Teeth
A tooth grind where a slightly higher trapezoidal tooth is positioned behind a flat tooth. The higher tooth scores the material slightly narrower than the final kerf, preventing tooth damage or breakage in brittle materials.
For universal applications in profiles and solid materials: composites, laminated chipboards, plastics, plexiglass, non-ferrous metals, brass, copper, hard wood.
KB – Alternate Set Teeth
Saw teeth are sharpened and set alternately to the sides. The tooth cutting process is done using laser technology, ensuring high precision. The blade is made of high-quality steel and is tensioned to harden the disc.
Mainly for cross-cutting soft and hard wood (e.g. firewood), designed for use in both handheld and stationary saws.
Tungsten carbide (WC) – an inorganic compound containing tungsten and carbon, similar to titanium carbide. It has the highest boiling point (6000°C) of any known compound. Due to its hardness, it is used in cutting tools and polishers as a cheaper and more heat-resistant alternative to diamond. Cemented carbides, also known in Poland as “widia” or HM, are widely used across industries as tool components offering high durability, hardness, and wear resistance.
